- On your Ipad home screen tap the settings icon
- Tap on Mail, Contacts, Calendars
- Tap on Add Account
- Tap on Other
- Tap Add mail account
- Enter this information:
- Your Name: Enter your name as you would like it to appear in the "From" field of your outgoing messages.
- Email Address: Enter your full mail address (e.g., john@example.com).
- Password: Enter your password.
- Enter in a description of this account
- Tap Save
- Tap POP tab
- Tap Incoming Mail Server
- Enter this information:Â
- Incoming (POP3) Server: 'mail.yourdomain.com'
- User Name: Enter your full email address
- Password: Enter your password
- Scroll down and enter this information
- Outgoing (SMTP) Server: 'mail.yourdomain.com'
- User Name: Enter your full email address
- Password: Enter your password.
- Tap Save
- If a screen comes up that says “Do you want to try setting up the account without SSL: Tap No
- Tap Save
- Tap on your email account
- Tap on SMTP
- Tap on the button with the Use SSL to turn it off
- Tap on the server port and Change your outgoing server setting to 25. While this setting should work, some ISP's (such as Telstra) block this port. If you have trouble sending mail, change this setting to first 465, and if your issues aren't resolved, 587.
- Tap on your email account tab in the upper left to go back
- Tap the Done button to go back to you mail settings
- Push the home button to finish
